An experienced IT Desktop Support Technician will provide on-site technical support for enterprise users. This role involves hands‑on troubleshooting, system maintenance, and end‑user assistance across desktops, laptops, and networked devices in a professional IT environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide IT infrastructure field support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Install, configure, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Support imaging, deployment, and hardware lifecycle management processes.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP connectivity issues.
- Deliver “smart hands” support for networking and peripheral hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
- Conduct repeat call analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with remote support teams to resolve escalated incidents quickly.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT field support, desktop engineering, or infrastructure services.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals and hardware diagnostics.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills.
- Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- Vantage Clear Certification (or equivalent security credential) required.
