Senior Azure​/Entra Engineer

AKKODIS is seeking a Senior Azure/Entra for a Contract with a client in San Francisco CA/ Cincinnati, OH. Candidates must have deep expertise in Conditional Access, Identity Protection, MFA, and PIM while building and troubleshooting enterprise identity‑security integrations.

$64/hour to $68/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Build, configure, and maintain Azure/Entra ‑security components including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, MFA, PIM, and device‑compliance integrations.
• Translate IAM architectural designs into production‑ready identity configurations and ensure alignment with enterprise security policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced authentication, authorization, and identity‑security issues across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Implement identity‑based security controls to strengthen Zero Trust posture and enhance user and device access protection.
• Collaborate closely with IAM Architects, security teams, and cloud engineers to support secure deployment and continuous improvement of identity services.
• Monitor identity‑related logs and alerts, perform root‑cause analysis, and contribute to operational documentation and support processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• 8–10 years of experience in identity and access management, including deep hands‑on work with Azure AD/Entra  controls.
• Proven expertise configuring and troubleshooting Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, Identity Protection, and device‑compliance integrations in enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to translate IAM architecture into production‑ready configurations and resolve complex authentication and identity‑security issues.
