Position Overview

The Pre Sales Partner Consultant for Teamcenter X will be a pivotal technical resource within the Americas Partner Organization, dedicated to empowering our partners to successfully position, demonstrate, and implement Siemens Teamcenter X solutions. This role is critical for driving partner‑led growth and ensuring our partners are fully enabled to deliver value to customers throughout the Pre Sales cycle and beyond.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging the gap between Siemens' product expertise and our partners' sales and technical capabilities.

The candidate for this position will report directly to the Director of Partner Technical Enablement.

Responsibilities Partner Presales Support
  • Provide experienced technical guidance and support to channel partners during presales activities for Teamcenter X, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, solution architecture, and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand customer requirements and design optimal Teamcenter X solutions that address their business challenges.
  • Assist partners in responding to technical aspects of RFPs/RFIs related to Teamcenter X.
  • Act as a primary technical point of contact for assigned strategic partners for Teamcenter X inquiries.
Partner Enablement & Training
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive technical enablement programs, workshops, and training sessions for partner sales and technical teams on Teamcenter X features, functionalities, standard methodologies, and competitive positioning.
  • Create and maintain technical enablement content, including solution guides, technical FAQs, demonstration scripts, and driven battle cards specific to Teamcenter X.
  • Ensure partners are advised with the latest Teamcenter X product releases, updates, and strategic roadmap.
  • Mentor partner technical resources to enhance their Teamcenter X expertise and self‑sufficiency.
Technical Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key customers within partner organizations, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Work closely with partner services teams to provide leadership, minimize technical risks, and safeguard project success during the presales‑to‑delivery handoff for Teamcenter X.
  • Provide regular status updates and technical reviews to internal Siemens customers and partners.
Internal Teamwork & Feedback
  • Coordinate with internal Siemens teams (Product Management, R&D, Cloud Application Services, Customer Success) to resolve sophisticated technical challenges and provide feedback on Teamcenter X product enhancements based on partner and customer interactions.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment between presales activities and implementation delivery for Teamcenter X solutions.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Cloud SaaS and Teamcenter X.
  • Translate sophisticated technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling value propositions for various audience levels.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
  • Educational & Technical Background:
    Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field, along with demonstrated ability in customer‑facing technical roles within the enterprise software industry.
  • PLM Software Proficiency:
    Shown expertise with Siemens Teamcenter, Teamcenter X, or other SaaS Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, plus an understanding of core PLM processes (BOM, Change Management, etc.).
