SAP PPDS Consultant

Cincinnati, Ohio

Minimum years of experience: 10+ Years

• 10+ years experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA embedded PPDS and/or APO PPDS.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA embedded PPDS and/or APO PPDS, including configuration and support.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs for production planning and detailed scheduling, then translate these into effective SAP S/4
  
  HANA PPDS solutions. Configure and customize the S/4
  
  HANA PPDS module, including master data, planning parameters, and heuristics, to meet specific business requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration of PPDS with other SAP modules (like PP, MM, SD) and relevant data transfer processes, such as CIF.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for the SAP PPDS system and its users.
• Participate in full lifecycle implementations, including design, build, testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Train end-users on PPDS functionalities and best practices. Develop detailed functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements, working closely with technical/ABAP teams.
• Experience with at least one, preferably multiple, full-lifecycle S/4
  
  HANA implementations.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing execution, MRP, capacity planning, and supply chain processes. Proficiency with the PPDS optimizer, heuristics, master data, and key integrations like CIF.
• Ability to write functional specifications and collaborate effectively with ABAP and other technical teams.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
