Mainframe QA

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe QA Consultant to support healthcare applications for a contract engagement in Cincinnati.

• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of mainframe-based systems that support healthcare operations, claims, eligibility, and member data.
• Perform manual testing of Mainframe healthcare applications.
• Analyze healthcare business requirements and translate them into test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute functional, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate batch processing, online transactions, and data feeds.
• Perform data validation using DB2 and SQL.
• Test claims processing, eligibility, enrollment, provider, and member data.
• Validate HIPAA-compliant data handling.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and healthcare SMEs.
• Prepare test execution reports and defect metrics.

• 5+ years of Mainframe QA / Testing experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Experience in Healthcare domain (Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider, Member systems)
  • Experience with batch and online testing
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
  • Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments
• Experience with tools like ALM / Quality Center / JIRA
