Job OverviewResponsible for maintaining the on‑going reliability, performance, management, and support of ERP application environments supporting education, research, administrative, and other activities.
Essential Functions- Work on multiple, moderate to high complex projects as a project team member.
- Maintain ERP systems and applications, supporting and training users for ERP system(s) and applications usage.
- Create and share technical estimates and operational requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines.
- Support integration of changes in test, preproduction, and production environments.
- Evaluate problems and determine the required course of action.
- Perform ERP module installations for upgrades and patches and log all technical upgrade steps.
- Work with Business Systems Analysts, Dev Ops engineers, database administrators, and ERP programming staff in coordinating system‐wide updates, fixes, and upgrades.
- Ensure the performance and reliability of ERP systems.
- Respond to escalated system problems.
- Monitor and maintain a comprehensive set of performance metrics for all system features.
- Maintain history reports, identify and address recurring problems.
- Create and review checklists of standard operating procedures looking for continued ways to improve procedures to save time and money.
- Participate in peer knowledge sharing groups.
- Prepare documentation for customer support, such as server and client hardware/software configurations.
- Research and evaluate emerging ERP technologies.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
- Two (2) years of business and/or ERP implementation experience.
- Experience with systems and database administration.
- Skilled in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business area.
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
