I.T. Infrastructure Intern – Summer 2026
Build practical I.T. skills while supporting modern business systems
AboutThe Role
We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Intern to support day-to-day operations across our core systems and end-user environment. You’ll assist with device setup, troubleshooting, access management, basic network and server support, documentation, and IT projects—gaining hands‑on experience with modern infrastructure tools and practices.
What You’ll Do- Provide first-line support for all our family of companies within Berpl Inc.
- Provide technical assistance for PCs, servers, multi-function devices, and phone systems
- Provides initial troubleshooting and follow-up to ensure problems are resolved in a timely fashion
- Ensure the support ticketing system is properly managed and processed.
- Build and deploy Windows client PC desktops and laptops PC and phone equipment add/move/changes, cleaning, and repair
- Escalating incidents to the Sr. IT Support Technician and System Administrator
- Maintenance of support documentation and asset tracking
- Working closely with the Sr. IT Support Technician on projects, which include:
- Actively participate in the development and improvement of IT support processes and knowledgebase documentation
- Implementing new and updated management and reporting tools Security improvements
- Help manage inventory (asset tagging, tracking, and lifecycle updates). Install updates and patches on client PC software, and hardware
- Provide technical assistance for all networks and conference room equipment
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, or similar
- Familiarity with Windows (and ideally macOS) troubleshooting basics
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Ability to document work clearly and follow processes
- Reliable, curious, and willing to learn.
- Strong customer service values, work ethic, and good communication
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and tight timelines
- Commitment to growth, learning, and adopting new technology
- Hands‑on, real‑world experience supporting and troubleshooting I.T. systems, hardware, and software
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced I.T. professionals
- Exposure to cross‑functional collaboration with teams across the organization to support technology needs
- Practical experience that strengthens your technical skills and build a strong foundation for a career in information technology
