U.S. retailer, is seeking a
Digital Accessibility Specialist
to join their team. As a
Digital Accessibility Specialist you will be part of the Accessibility Center of Excellence supporting cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Cincinnati, OH / Hybrid (will consider REMOTE for the right candidate)
Pay Range:$59/hr W2
What's the Job?- Support the Accessibility Center of Excellence by partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver accessible digital experiences.
- Conduct audits of design systems and content management platforms to ensure accessibility compliance.
- Perform manual and automated accessibility testing across web and mobile platforms, ensuring adherence to WCAG 2.2 AA and related standards.
- Identify accessibility barriers, document defects, and develop high-quality reports and recommendations for remediation.
- Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote best accessibility practices across the organization.
- 5+ years of experience in digital accessibility, inclusive design, or related roles in product development environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over, Talk Back, Dragon, switch access, magnification tools).
- Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508, with the ability to map findings to standards.
- Experience translating accessibility requirements into actionable design and development recommendations.
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and collaborate across cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills.
