- Translate complex business and security requirements into clear, actionable cloud designs.
- Develop and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, standards, and technical documentation that guide engineers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Dev Sec Ops engineers.
- Provide architectural oversight on cloud deployments, ensuring designs are implemented correctly and consistently.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and project teams, advocating for cloud best practices and cost optimization strategies.
- Deep expertise across Microsoft Azure core services: networking, compute, storage, identity, databases, monitoring, and security.
- Strong background with Azure application services:
Logic Apps, Function Apps, and App Services, and ability to integrate them into broader solution designs. - Solid understanding of cloud governance frameworks (e.g., policies, RBAC, cost controls).
- Experience with multi-region designs, disaster recovery patterns, and hybrid connectivity.
- Excellent written communication skills; able to produce diagrams, decision trees, and design docs that teams can rely on.
- A mindset oriented towards collaboration, mentorship, and cross‑functional influence.
- Familiarity with regulated industry frameworks (CMMC, FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, etc.).
- Prior work as part of an engineering team.
- Exposure to advanced serverless and integration patterns, such as Durable Functions, Event Grid, or Service Bus.
