Service Now Developer / Administrator (Contract | Hybrid/On-site – Cincinnati, OH)
We’re partnering with an enterprise team that relies on Service Now to support core IT service delivery and platform operations. This is a hands‑on role focused on keeping the platform stable, improving workflows, and delivering enhancements across multiple environments.
You’ll partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into clean, scalable Service Now solutions—while helping drive reliability, performance, and user adoption.
What you’ll do- Configure, customize, and enhance the Service Now platform to support operational and project needs
- Administer users, roles, access, and governance across production and non-production environments
- Build and refine workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts
- Support integrations and troubleshoot complex issues (performance, workflow behavior, and data quality)
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and platform analytics
- Support upgrades, patching, and environment synchronization activities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional delivery teams
- Document solutions, processes, and runbooks to improve long‑term supportability
- 3+ years of hands‑on Service Now administration experience in a production environment
- Strong Service Now scripting/configuration skills (JavaScript; business rules; UI policies; catalog/client scripts)
- Experience supporting core modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and CMDB / ITOM
- Comfort debugging integrations and troubleshooting platform performance issues
- Agile experience and strong collaboration/communication skills
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- CIS and/or CAD certifications (especially around portfolio / application management)
- ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
- Experience supporting high‑security or regulated environments
- Contract role (40 hours/week)
- Hybrid / on‑site schedule in Cincinnati, OH
