Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer – Burtch Works, Cincinnati, OH

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer to lead the development and optimization of our expanding portfolio of Shopify sites, including flagship D2C and B2B platforms. This individual will own existing and new web projects, mentor team members, and work cross-functionally across departments to deliver scalable, customer-first solutions.

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and applications; build back-end logic; optimize user experience (UX); manage databases and integrations; maintain order systems.
• Lead development for B2B wholesale site and D2C Shopify site; own technical execution for new business ventures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders; lead sprint meetings; assign development tasks; monitor performance; troubleshoot.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Shopify Developer (not just front-end).
• Deep expertise in Shopify (Liquid templating language), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL databases, JSON, and Ruby.
• Experience working with APIs, Shopify Plus, and complex plugin integration workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Experience assigning work and leading discussions in sprint or development meetings.
• Comfortable interfacing with both business and technical teams.
• Nice to have:
