Summer​/Fall Internship: Information Technology; IT

Overview

Join a mission-driven team where technology directly supports student success. This hands-on IT Internship offers real-world experience in troubleshooting, device repair, and technical support while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative school environment. This position is slated to work from August 2026 - May 2027. The timing can be adjusted based on the candidate's availability. This role focuses primarily on break/fix troubleshooting, device repair, and basic technical maintenance.

The intern will work closely with the IT team to respond to support tickets, assist with hardware and software issues, and help maintain a reliable and user-friendly technology environment for students, staff, and faculty.

• Respond to and resolve break/fix support tickets, including device repair, peripheral issues, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Diagnose hardware and software problems on student and staff devices (computers, tablets, printers, projectors, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance such as updates, image deployment, device cleaning, and testing.
• Assist with equipment setup for classrooms, events, and school activities.
• Provide friendly, patient customer service to all end users.

• Currently enrolled in a college program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field (or equivalent interest/experience).
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common classroom technology.
• Interest in hands-on repair and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, school-based IT environment.

• Bi-lingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
