Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Senior Scrum Master to fill an open position with one of our clients in the banking industry. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead high‑impact Agile squads while influencing delivery practices across a complex, enterprise technology environment. The Senior Scrum Master will act as a servant leader and coach, helping teams maximize business value through strong Agile and Scrum execution.
You’ll work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and organizational partners to foster continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer-focused outcomes.
- Coach and guide Agile Squads in the effective application of Scrum values, principles, and ceremonies to drive consistent delivery of business value
- Facilitate Scrum events, promote self‑organization, and remove or eliminate impediments that impact team performance
- Partner with Product Owners and development teams to ensure effective backlog management, prioritization, and shared understanding of success
- Foster a trusting, collaborative environment while coaching teams on continuous improvement, risk identification, and dependency management
- 4+ years of full‑time business experience with at least 2 years of hands‑on Scrum experience
- Deep understanding of the Scrum Framework and Agile principles, with the ability to apply them in real‑world team environments
- Proven experience coaching high‑performing, cross‑functional teams using inspect‑and‑adapt feedback loops and empirical data
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills across multiple organizational levels
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle disciplines and Dev Ops‑related practices (CI/CD, testing frameworks, automation)
- Experience leveraging alternative Agile frameworks and ways of working (Kanban, XP, Scrumban, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
