About the Role
The Senior Manager, Strategic Capacity Management will lead and orchestrate the Strategic Capacity Management (SCM) process within the Wound Closure & Healing (WCH) organization. The role reports to the LRPP/SCM Business Process Leader in the Integrated Business Management (IBM) team and works with global stakeholders to support long‑term supply chain scenarios over a 2‑to‑10‑year horizon. The position is available in multiple countries including the United States, Germany, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Belgium, Switzerland, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities People- Integrate with business stakeholders responsible for modelling inputs and internal customers who use SCM model outcomes.
- Lead process improvement initiatives with a customer‑first mentality, building trust with internal customers and using technology to reduce process cycle lags.
- Facilitate problem‑solving across partners, bridging data gaps and developing feasible model scenarios.
- Drive strategic planning governance, managing annual cadence and communications.
- Identify business opportunities related to capacity, new product launches, technology requirements, continuity planning, inventory, and other operational aspects.
- Apply general management principles to discuss capacity implications, including revenue forecasts, profit, market share, inventory, and regional strategies.
- Own SCM models on the OMP platform, scenario generation, and reporting.
- Champion adoption of large‑data modeling tools such as Python, R, and Alteryx to scale and enhance digital maturity.

- Minimum of a bachelor’s or equivalent university degree; preferred STEM‑related field such as engineering, logistics, supply chain, computing, or finance.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Leadership experience in a logistics, planning, or manufacturing environment within the medical device or closely related industry.
- Proven expertise building process models to demonstrate flow and constraints.
- Familiarity with simulation and optimization models and tools.
- Knowledge of Theory of Constraints and/or System Dynamics with practical applications.
- Working knowledge of tools such as OMP, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or Jonova, and ability to train others.
- Requires up to 30% travel.
