Evaluation Period:
Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester

Purpose:

ISS Student Workers are responsible for assisting students, staff and faculty members with any technology needs. All ISS Student Workers are to assist patrons at the Help Desk and provide front-line assistance for the support of electronic classrooms, and the delivery and support of media equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Answering calls and responding to basic inquiries.

* Handling basic media moves (e.g., putting and updating media requests)

* Familiarity with some campus locations and able to navigate to them as needed.

* Supporting classroom, office, and other technology under supervision.

* Assisting clients with campus directional questions.

* Knowing the basic locations of media items in the office and assisting with basic media storage tasks.

* Assisting with opening and closing the Help Desk

* Other duties as assigned.
