Responsibilities- Design and implement Power BI data models.
- Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service.
- Connect and integrate data from databases, cloud services, and flat files.
- Analyze data to identify trends and visualize insights with charts, graphs, and other visualizations.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and report rendering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and deploy Power BI solutions.
- Ensure data governance, accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Develop and utilize DAX calculations to extend Power BI functionality and perform complex analyses.
- Use SQL for data retrieval and manipulation in conjunction with Power BI transformations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Power BI solutions, including data models, report designs, and data lineage.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Power BI solutions, addressing user issues and resolving technical problems.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.
- 3-4 years of experience in Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- 3-5 years of experience in SQL.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to run meetings.
- Problem solving and critical thinking.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills – ability to convey ideas verbally and in writing to management, business, and IT sponsors, and technical resources.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills when resolving data‑related issues or designing new solutions.
- Experience with SDLC and ability to assist in Project Management; understanding of release management protocols.
- Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft Power BI, including:
- Data Modeling – designing and building models, understanding relationships, and optimizing performance.
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) – writing complex formulas for calculations, measures, and derived columns.
- Power Query (M) – connecting to data sources, transforming, and cleaning data.
- Report & Dashboard Design – creating visually appealing, user‑friendly, and informative reports.
- Data Visualization – selecting appropriate chart types and designing layouts.
- SQL – strong understanding of querying databases, extracting and manipulating data.
- Data Warehousing Concepts – familiarity with star and snowflake schemas, ETL processes.
- Data Sources – experience with SQL Server, Excel, Azure SQL Database, cloud‑based sources, etc.
- Performance Optimization – identifying and resolving performance issues in Power BI reports and data models.
