Quality Analyst Bond Insurance Application

Technical Skills Primary:

• Test Planning and Strategy:
  Develop detailed test strategy and test plans based on the business requirements and user story specific to the bond application across the areas related to underwriting policy issuance and claims
• Functional testing:
  Perform testing related to all the functional areas underwriting policy issuance and claims
• Report the defects with clear steps to reproduce and document the same
• Perform regression testing when new features are introduced in the application
• Perform integration testing to ensure smooth data flow and interactions
• Ensure the application is compliant with internal industry regulations
• Experience:
  
  At least 10 years and previous experience as a QA Analyst with insurance and bond industry
• Domain Knowledge:
  Familiarity with bond insurance products, rate calculations, underwriting policy issuance, and claims functionalities
• Tools:
  Experience with test management tools like Rally, Jira, SQL for data analysis
• Experience in clientD framework and knowledge in Automation Selenium groovy scripts java script etc
• Well versed in Agile Methodologies and ceremonies
• Technical Skills Secondary (Nice to have NOT MANDATORY):
• Knowledge on Katalon Studio
• Prior experience in Bondbox application
• Quick adaptation to new technology methodologies and systems

• Excellent communication, verbal and written, and teamwork skills
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, track, and report software defects
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Respond to all requests from internal and client team members in a timely professional manner
