DevOps Engineer

CBTS is seeking an experienced Senior Linux/Open Shift Platform Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will deploy, configure, and support enterprise container platforms while driving automation and operational excellence across our environment.

• Open Shift — hands‑on experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Open Shift in production environments
• Python — automation scripting and tooling (alongside BASH and Ansible)
• Communication — strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of relevant experience through work, military service, or specialized training
• Automation experience with BASH, Ansible, and/or Python
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Kubernetes or Open Shift distributions
• Working knowledge of the Kubernetes API Server
• Knowledge of NFS and networking fundamentals
• Working knowledge of Git, Git Lab, Git Hub, and CI/CD workflows

• Experience with SDN concepts and protocols
• Virtualization and/or Linux certifications
• Experience with OVN-Kubernetes
• Experience with Multus CNI
• Experience with service mesh for Layer 7 networking management
• Experience with Service Proxy for Kubernetes
• Experience with Net App Storage Solutions
• Experience with object storage (Swiftstack/MinIO)
• Working knowledge of Open Stack
