Service Now Senior Developer (Sec Ops)
The purpose of this role is to analyze attack patterns, develop incident response plans, ensure audit readiness, and implement disaster recovery measures, to ensure adherence to cyber security regulatory frameworks.

Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience with Service Now Development.
- Broad IT experience of working within a large enterprise on implementation initiatives.
- Candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the Service Now platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as ITSM, Service Portal, Custom apps, Governance, Risk & Compliance.
- Should have understanding on ITIL/ITSM processes.
- Good hands-on knowledge and experience of JavaScript, Glide and Jelly Scripting.
- Design and modify Service Now forms, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs and more.
- Knowledge of best practices in Service Now development activities/coding.
- Integration with 3rd party tools using (web services, REST, SOAP, email, MID, etc)
- Troubleshooting Service Now performance issues.
- Service Now GRC implementation or development experience will be added value
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.
- Help design and implement new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite.
- Strong understanding of Service Now Development Platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, CMDB, GRC, Custom Development, etc
- Conduct Proof of Concept activities when necessary.
- Prepare run books on specific technology areas.
- Experience with release/version upgrades including scheduling cloning and migration of data from instances with Service Now.
- Ability to multi-task and change priorities as needed.
- Applies innovative technical solutions to business and the application processes.

Academic & Professional
Skills:
- Service Now System certified administration is a must
- Certified Implementation Specialist- ITSM is a must
- ITIL Foundations certification is a must.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education.
Areas of responsibility:
Monitoring and Incident Detection-Analyse attack trends and correlate logs across systems to identify advance threats. Enhance monitoring processes and implement improvements for faster detection, to ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.
Incident Handling and Analysis-Perform root cause analysis, create incident response plans and implement disaster recovery measures to minimize business disruption
Threat Assessment and Analytics-Undertake forensic analysis using advanced analytics tools and implement mitigation measures to align with compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance-Liaise with cross functional teams, external vendors and auditors to ensure compliance with security frameworks.
Maintain audit documentation and ensure its accuracy while implementing processes that support audit readiness and continuous compliance."
Training and Awareness-Assist in creating and delivering cybersecurity awareness sessions, including guidance on phishing and malicious emails.
