Role Description

IICS - IDMC Data Engineer

Location:

Cincinnati, OH, USA – Onsite

Technical Skills – Primary
  • Informatica experience of at least 5 years and 2 years in IDMC:
    Strong understanding of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) including CDI and data integration concepts.
  • Good knowledge of Snowflake architecture, data modeling, data ingestion, and data transformation concepts.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements for data engineering initiatives.
  • Ability to perform impact analysis across source systems, ETL processes, and reporting platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL ELT methodologies.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies: user stories, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Knowledge of data integration workflows and enterprise data architectures.
  • Experience creating functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate between business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams.
  • Experience supporting solution validation, UAT, and requirement traceability.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud data platforms.
Technical Skills – Secondary
  • Exposure to Informatica Data Quality, Data Governance, or Metadata Management solutions.
  • Knowledge of Python or scripting for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  • Understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance, and Master Data Management concepts.
  • Experience in Insurance or Financial Services domain.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude with strong ownership and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Approximately 7 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements for Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Warehouse projects.
  • Working knowledge of Informatica IDMCIICS, Snowflake, SQL, and Data Warehousing concepts including data modeling and ETL ELT processes.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and coordinating requirements between business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams.
  • Need to be productive by 3rd August 2026 without visa issues.
