Senior Sitecore Platform Engineer; Sitecore XP

Job Description

A large financial client in Cincinnati is looking for a 12 month contract resource to support the organization's next‑generation digital experience initiatives, including the Servicing Portal and website redesign. This role will focus on modern Sitecore architecture, Sitecore AI capabilities, headless content delivery, cloud‑native web platforms, and operational support of customer‑facing digital experiences.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting enterprise websites built on Sitecore XM Cloud or headless Sitecore architectures and is comfortable working across CMS, front‑end, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production support activities. This individual will partner closely with Marketing, Architecture, Development, QA, Product, and Vendor teams in a fast‑paced Agile environment.

• Support Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore AI, and headless Sitecore environments
• Monitor and maintain website availability, performance, and operational health
• Assist with deployments, release validation, environment configuration, and production readiness activities
• Troubleshoot issues across Sitecore, Next.js applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and integrations
• Collaborate with developers, QA, product owners, and architects to support ongoing digital initiatives
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release coordination through Azure Dev Ops
• Assist with content publishing, personalization, analytics, and digital experience platform capabilities
• Investigate production issues and coordinate resolution efforts across teams
• Document operational procedures, support processes, and technical solutions

Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and production support activities.

• 5+ years supporting Sitecore XP platforms
• Experience with Sitecore content management, publishing workflows, templates, renderings, and page components
• Experience administering Sitecore users, roles, permissions, and workflow configurations
• Experience troubleshooting publishing, caching, indexing, and rendering issues
• Experience supporting multiple Sitecore environments (DEV/QA/UAT/PROD)
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD processes
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience with Sitecore Forms, Solr, xDB, and xConnect
