Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Engineer – IT Operations Support to join our Infrastructure Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability, availability, and performance of critical IT infrastructure and enterprise applications. You will lead complex incident resolution, drive root cause analysis, support service continuity initiatives, and contribute to automation and operational excellence efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage enterprise IT infrastructure, servers, applications, and network environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Lead resolution of complex incidents, escalations, and service requests while ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Perform troubleshooting, issue diagnosis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive actions.
  • Execute maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and system updates.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, high-availability, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and support procedures.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using scripting and workflow tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Platform Engineering, Network Operations, NOC, Service Delivery, and Architecture teams.
  • Support onboarding of new services by defining monitoring, alerting, escalation, and operational readiness requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of professional experience with at least 5+ years in IT Infrastructure Operations or Production Support environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT Operations, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management processes.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience working with enterprise ITSM platforms and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
