Do you thrive on building empowered, self-organizing teams? We're seeking a Lead Agilist to guide Agile squads, mentor stakeholders at all levels, and help deliver business value by promoting Scrum best practices, team effectiveness, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:- Guide Agile Squads in applying Scrum principles and facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
- Coach Product Owners and Development Teams on backlog management, self-organization, continuous improvement, cross-functionality, risk identification, dependency management, and conflict resolution.
- Identify and remove organizational and team-level impediments while facilitating communication and collaboration across Agile Squads, stakeholders, and organizational partners.
- Build high-performing, trusting teams by leveraging feedback, metrics, inspect-and-adapt practices, servant leadership, and other Agile frameworks and techniques.
- 5+ years of full-time business experience with 3+ years of Scrum experience in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of the Scrum framework and Agile principles, including experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement practices.
- Proven experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, coaching, and facilitating at multiple levels of an organization, particularly within team environments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts and guide teams toward effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and remove team and organizational impediments while navigating interpersonal and organizational conflicts.
- Strong servant-leadership, coaching, collaboration, and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience; familiarity with Kanban, Scrumban, XP, CI/CD, Dev Ops, and other Agile practices is a plus.
