Accessibility Analyst
Required
Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of digital accessibility principles and standards
- Experience testing and reviewing websites, software, and enterprise systems for accessibility
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated accessibility testing
- Working knowledge of Section 508 and accessibility compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain accessibility concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Skills & Experience:
- Experience creating or remediating accessible content
- Accessibility certifications such as:
Trusted Tester, CPACC, IAAP (IAAPA) - Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (ex: screen readers, automated scanners, browser tools, etc.)
- Higher education experience
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking an Accessibility Analyst to support a large higher education client experiencing an increased demand for accessibility reviews across digital platforms. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating systems, software, and websites for accessibility compliance, and performing both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate is process driven yet analytical, understands accessibility standards at a deeper level, and can confidently communicate with non technical audiences.
Day-to-Day:
- Review websites, systems, and software for accessibility compliance
- Perform manual and automated accessibility testing
- Document findings, risks, and remediation recommendations clearly
- Identify accessibility red flags and escalate concerns when appropriate
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and non-technical partners to explain findings
- Ensure accessibility reviews align with 508 standards and internal processes
- Recommend process improvements to help scale accessibility efforts amid increased demand
- Support a growing volume of accessibility requests across the university
