Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This is an in-person role in an independent agency environment where you will have ownership of accounts, support producers, and play a key role in client retention and agency efficiency. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in commercial lines servicing who thrives in a client-facing role.

Commercial Lines Account Manager — this role involves managing client relationships, servicing commercial lines, and supporting producers to ensure high-quality service and retention.

Compensation Package
  • Salary Range: $62,000 – $85,000 base, depending on experience
  • Benefits:

Responsibilities
  • Manage renewals, endorsements, certificates, and claims support for commercial lines clients
  • Assist with quoting new and renewal business
  • Coordinate with carriers and maintain accurate files in the agency management system
  • Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Provide exceptional client communication and support to maintain strong relationships
  • Support producers with account management, submissions, and follow-ups
  • Contribute to agency efficiency and client retention through organized and proactive service
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Licensure:
    Active Ohio Property & Casualty license required
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2+ years in commercial lines servicing
    • Background in independent agency environments preferred
    • Experience with small to middle-market commercial accounts
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in managing renewals, endorsements, certificates, and claims
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Familiarity with agency management systems preferred
  • Education:

    Professional development in insurance or related fields is a plus
