Medical Stop Loss Professional

A well established insurance carrier with a long track record of stability is looking to add a Medical Stop Loss professional to its underwriting team in Cincinnati. This is a great opportunity to join a small, close knit team with a manager who has been promoted multiple times and is now looking to build out support. This role is fully in office, five days a week in Cincinnati, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

What you will do:

• You will work closely with the underwriting manager on specific and aggregate stop loss business, supporting pricing, risk assessment, and case management for self funded and level funded health plans.
• You will have direct exposure to senior leadership given the size of the team, and a clear line of sight to future progression as the business continues to grow.

What you need:

• Prior experience in medical stop loss underwriting is required.
• You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a small team, and be willing to relocate to Cincinnati if not already based there.
