Our Commercial Lines Administration department is seeking candidates for Commercial Lines Operations Specialist. This role is tasked with optimizing operations through continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of commercial lines. The position requires strong capabilities in data analysis, strategic planning and execution, and executive-level communication. This is a full-time, exempt role based at our Fairfield, OH headquarters. The salary range for this position is $110,000–$165,000 annually.

Compensation is determined based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:

  • drive continuous business process improvement across Commercial Lines by identifying opportunities, evaluating solutions, and implementing changes that positively impact the expense ratio
  • identify and execute opportunities to optimize processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance service delivery
  • lead or contribute to complex, multi-phase initiatives with measurable business impact, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  • strengthen and evolve change management practices, including governance, adoption strategies, and best practices across the department
  • perform objective analysis of business processes and data; translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform decision-making
  • develop innovative, often cross-functional solutions to address operational challenges
  • monitor trends and opportunities, conducting impact and benefit analyses
  • collaborate across departments to evaluate the associate experience and assess the impact of operational changes
  • enhance the associate and agent experience by integrating product and technology improvements into underwriting workflows
  • design and support learning strategies that build organizational capability and enable future-state operations

Be equipped with:

  • demonstrated track record of delivering strong results and exceeding expectations
  • experience working with operational workflows, systems, and data analysis
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • strong knowledge of underwriting operations, workflows, tools, and procedures across Commercial Lines, including upstream and downstream impacts across departments
  • proven application of ADKAR change management principles and best practices
  • strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute on defined initiatives
  • advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify patterns and drive action from data
  • ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal direction
  • strong relationship-building skills and a highly collaborative mindset
  • adaptable, flexible, and open to change
  • excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Bring education and experience from:

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience (required)
  • prior commercial lines underwriting experience or deep knowledge of the property & casualty insurance industry (preferred)
  • experience leading or contributing to large-scale, strategic initiatives (preferred)
