Senior Business​/Product Analyst, Insurance

• Participate in developing new products and solutions to enhance premium volume growth
• Ensure the competitiveness and profitability of existing products
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and claims teams on insurance solutions, product specifications, pricing strategies, and policy language
• Gather and analyze product-specific data from various sources
• Monitor product performance
• Provide summary analysis, recommendations, and communications to business units
• Participate in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps
• Participate in SWOT analyses
• Participate in developing product and rate revisions, underwriting guidelines, manuals, and procedures
• Work with marketing, business development, and insurance operations teams on product launches and ongoing support
• Develop and present training regarding new products and product changes to internal teams and agents
• Partner with IT on prioritization, implementation, and enhancements of operational systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in product or related experience
• Certification in area of expertise may be required; applicable designations could include AU, CPCU, CIC, INS, ARM, CLP, or other applicable designations
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance products and lines of business
• Knowledge of industry laws and regulations
• Proficiency in interpreting competitive data and industry trends
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions
• Demonstrated decision-making ability and customer-centric mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Position may require occasional travel

Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of insurance products and lines of business, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitive data to inform product strategies. Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and launch insurance solutions while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
