JOB DESCRIPTIONDEPARTMENT: Technical Services FLSA: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting the Service Team with equipment service and repairs, ensuring a clean and organized work environment, and preparing new and demo equipment of ACT product lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES- Assist with equipment diagnostics, service, and repairs.
- Quality control for new and demo equipment needed for the sales team.
- Quality control for equipment that has been repaired or serviced.
- Ensure a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- High school diploma, GED, or previous experience.
- Minimum 3 months related live event production experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Problem solving abilities
- Familiar with the use of diagnostic and repair tools such as multimeter, oscilloscope, DMX tester, soldering tools.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers and colleagues.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and/or weekends as needed.
- Occasionally required to stand.
- Occasionally required to walk.
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
- The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
