Description: District Translators

District translators may be asked to complete any of the following responsibilities:

• Oral and/or written translations in parent/teacher meetings, which may include face-to-face meetings or phone conferences.
• Oral and/or written translations for student testing.
• Written translations of school communications.

• Speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in both English and the language needed for translation, including using academic vocabulary.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass an FBI and BCII criminal background check.
• Preference for availability during school hours.

As needed, hours vary based on need. Current rate of pay is $40.00 per hour.
