Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Overview

The Cincinnati, OH office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join our growing civil defense litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have between two (2) and seven (7) years of civil defense litigation experience. This position provides the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters, including general liability, premises liability, products liability, and other complex civil litigation cases. Admission to the Ohio State Bar is required. Admission to or willing to become admitted to the Kentucky State Bar is a plus.

While prior insurance defense experience is preferred, we are also open to attorneys with strong litigation skills from other practice areas who are eager to develop their careers in civil defense. • Represent clients in civil defense litigation matters, including general liability, premises liability, products liability, and other complex civil cases.
• Collaborate with a team in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Manage case strategy, discovery, and pretrial activities under supervision appropriate to experience.

• 2-7 years of civil defense litigation experience (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar required; admission to or willingness to become admitted to the Kentucky State Bar is a plus.
• Prior insurance defense experience preferred but not required; strong litigation skills from other practice areas considered.
• Ability to work in Cincinnati, OH.
