Key Responsibilities Provide strategic legal counsel on complex claims and litigation, including risk mitigation and litigation strategy Draft legal opinions on coverage issues and analyze compliance with state-specific claims handling statutes Collaborate across teams to develop policy forms and coverage solutions, while mentoring others and leading special projects
Required Qualifications Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 7+ years of experience in P&C insurance law, particularly in personal lines liability litigation Experience managing multi-state litigation or providing coverage counsel for a national carrier Sound legal judgment with the ability to provide strategic legal advice to the business Flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
