Key Responsibilities Interpret coverage and collaborate with outside counsel to analyze and resolve claims Draft coverage position letters and develop strategies for resolution of litigated and non-litigated claims Maintain claim files and documents in accordance with company policy and procedure
Required Qualifications and Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree Minimum five (5) years of relevant legal experience, with two-plus (2+) years of claims handling preferred Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to obtain necessary adjusting licenses within approximately 180 days of employment
