A company is looking for a Litigation Counsel - Insurance Defense.
Key Responsibilities Manage and support litigation cases and pre-litigation matters, including various insurance defense cases Assist with document production, witness preparation, and support the paralegal with subpoenas Monitor litigation matters, prepare status updates, and draft legal documents such as settlement agreements and discovery materials
Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state 3+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense matters Proficiency in insurance law and regulatory frameworks for Property & Casualty, Auto, and Commercial sectors
Experience with litigation skills, including witness preparation and discovery procedures Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims handling processes, and legal risk assessment
