Associate Attorney - Real Estate

Our firm is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Real Estate Attorney with 10+ years of practice to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated real estate transactions and work closely with clients on a wide range of commercial and residential matters.

• Lead and manage complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and related contracts
• Conduct due diligence, including title review, surveys, and zoning analysis
• Advise clients on real estate development projects and land use matters
• Collaborate with lenders, title companies, developers, and opposing counsel
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff as needed
• Contribute to client development and business growth initiatives

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Ohio (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate law
• Strong experience with commercial real estate transactions
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines
• Strong client service orientation and communication skills

• Portable book of business (preferred but not required)
• Experience with development projects, zoning, and land use
• Familiarity with title and survey review processes
