MRO Planning Leader - Cincinnati, OH
You will serve as the primary supply chain point of contact for a portfolio of strategic repair suppliers in North America, ensuring that repaired engine parts are delivered on time and meet Safran Aircraft Engines (SAFRAN AE) requirements. This role is part of Safran USA's Global Supply Chain team within the Support & Services Division, working closely with suppliers across France, Mexico, Morocco and Belgium.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor the progress of engine parts sent for repair at supplier sites, ensuring timely return within contractual minimums (OTD target 95%).
- Verify compliance with repair activity contractual conditions and challenge suppliers as needed.
- Prioritize SAFRAN AE flow when capacity constraints or repair capabilities are limited.
- Conduct weekly reviews with suppliers and follow up on open action items.
- Maintain close relationships with supplier contacts at all organizational levels.
- Resolve issues with suppliers when delivery commitments do not align with engine reassembly schedules.
- Identify deviations in supplier logistics performance and lead improvement actions in coordination with the SAFRAN AE supplier team.
- Document key part-progress information in the SAFRAN AE ERP system.
- Build strong relationships with internal customer shops to ensure repaired part shipping dates match their needs.
- Support internal SAFRAN AE customers with operational difficulties.
- Represent SAFRAN AE global supply chain in supplier visits, working groups and other interactions.
- Coordinate transversally with other SAFRAN AE supplier-team functions (buyer, performance manager, engineering, quality).
- Share expertise and best practices with MRO procurement leader teams in Europe, Americas and Asia.
- Ensure repaired parts return within contractual agreements and do not delay engine build re-assembly.

- Language – English proficiency at native or close to native level;
French language skills considered a plus.
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Supply-Chain Management, Industrial Management, Operations Management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years in supply-chain, project management or operations within the aerospace industry, preferably 5+ years in MRO aerospace.
Annual salary based on experience.
LocationNortheast United States – Cincinnati, OH (North America).
