Purchasing Specialist

Our client is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join their team. In this role you will be part of the Source-to-Pay Ecosystem supporting internal stakeholders and supplier partners. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, relationship management skills, and advanced communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Lead and execute Source-to-Pay processes, including sourcing recommendations, contracts, pricing, procurement, payments, analysis, and governance.

+ Manage internal stakeholder and supplier relationships while driving sourcing, procurement, and payment strategies.

+ Facilitate contract execution end-to-end, from sourcing recommendations through supplier payments.

+ Utilize technical solutions to improve process effectiveness and efficiency across the Source-to-Pay ecosystem.

+ Ensure supply assurance, value creation, and compliance with policies, controls, and governance requirements.

** What's Needed?*
* + Expertise in Source-to-Pay processes, including sourcing, procurement, contracts, pricing, and payments.

+ Knowledge of policies, stewardship, compliance, controls, master data work processes, and technical systems.

+ Strong negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills.

+ Analytical thinking with the ability to influence internal senior leadership and external industry stakeholders.

+ Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
