Position Summary
AGSE Tooling is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager to lead our worldwide sourcing and procurement strategy while managing key supplier relationships across North America, Europe, Asia, and other international markets.
This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, managing procurement operations, mitigating supply chain risk, and leading a growing procurement team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic thinking, supplier management expertise, and leadership experience within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure AGSE maintains a reliable, cost-effective, and scalable global supply chain capable of supporting our continued growth.

- Participate in international supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, and performance management initiatives.
- Develop, negotiate, and administer supplier agreements that achieve cost savings, improve lead times, strengthen supplier performance, and ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships across multiple international regions including Asia, Europe, and North America.
- Build and manage global procurement team.
- Evaluate market trends, geopolitical impacts, tariffs, currency fluctuations, and supply chain risks to support procurement decisions.
- Drive supplier cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, logistics, finance, sales, and customer service teams to support production and customer requirements.
- Lead supplier performance management by establishing and monitoring key metrics for quality, on-time delivery, responsiveness, capacity, and continuous improvement to ensure operational excellence.
- Oversee supplier selection and onboarding processes for highly engineered mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, machined components, and spare parts, establishing a high-performing and resilient supplier network.
- Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies.
- Manage inventory optimization and supplier capacity planning to ensure material availability, minimize inventory investment, and support on-time customer delivery.
- Conduct supplier audits, business reviews, and international site visits as required.
- Develop contingency plans to minimize supply chain disruptions and improve business continuity.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems and procurement analytics to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience selecting, qualifying, and managing international suppliers supporting complex, high‑mix, low‑volume mechanical and electromechanical assemblies within global supply chains.
- Must possess strong technical expertise with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bills of material (BOMs) to support sourcing decisions, supplier evaluations, and cost analysis.
