Analyst Sourcing Specialist

** Responsibilities:*
* + Monitor supplier performance, service levels, and product availability across Fresh Meat categories

+ Support Sourcing Manager in the development of supplier performance/continuous improvement targets and related scorecards

+ Administration of supplier assessments, score cards, and other analytics to manage supplier performance

+ Prepare planning guide to facilitate the completion of the negotiation and support Sourcing Manager where needed

+ General day-to-day sourcing analysis and cost benefit tracking

+ Conduct opportunity assessments, benchmarking, and cost modeling to develop different award optimization scenarios to minimize total cost of ownership

+ Identify total internal costs associated with supplier price, delivery, operations and quality

+ Identify supply risks, gaps in fill rate, and inventory flow issues; escalate as needed

+ Conduct root cause analysis on supply disruptions (forecasting, capacity, logistics, supplier constraints)

+ Support execution of sourcing processes, including supplier onboarding.

** Requirements:*
* + Bachelor's degree in business, finance, analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

+

Experience with data analysis and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar platforms).

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with data modelling, cost analysis, or performance analytics

+ Exposure to data governance, data management, or reporting frameworks

+ Experience in direct product sourcing, supply chain, and/or category management (Meat/Seafood experience preferred)

+ Strong analytical skills (Excel, project tracking and reporting tools a plus)

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

+

Experience with perishable categories (e.g., Fresh Meat, cold chain, shrink considerations)

+ Familiarity with supplier performance metrics and inventory management concepts
