The Project Specialist will work closely with the General Contracts Project Management team for high profile or general contractor projects as assigned. The Project Specialist will confidently organize and lead project related communications to ensure all project milestones are met and will be responsible for project accuracy while maintaining profitability of the project from beginning to end.
Responsibilities- Receive and reply to all communications from assigned consultants or customers
- Manage open order reports on a weekly basis to ensure date management protocol is followed
- Work with installer, consultant or customer on a detailed level to ensure project is field verified and installed per specification and/or customer expectations
- Proactively provide consultants or customers with important order milestones including ship dates and backorders
- Maintain communication with internal departments to ensure all project related milestones are met
- Be routinely available outside of normal business hours to address business needs
- Responsible for accurate order entry of product based on field measures, quotes, designer specification and purchase order, along with submittals and shop drawings
- Organize and lead conference calls and meetings with project stakeholders
- Education Required:
High school diploma - Preferred: 4-year degree
- Experience
Required:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in customer service and/or administrative work - Demonstrated success in managing priorities while meeting desired outcomes effectively
- Preferred: 5+ years of relevant experience, with a strong track record of successful delivery
