Purchasing Manager

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $90k–$100k/yr+

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2–3 years of equivalent experience, or 5–7 years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
• Experience analyzing purchasing data, costs, and inventory levels to support business decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing, printing, packaging, or Point-of-Purchase (POP) display industry experience preferred.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, contract administration, inventory planning, forecasting, and supply chain risk management preferred.

• Lead procurement operations to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, services, and equipment.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and supplier performance to maintain quality, pricing, and reliable supply.
• Oversee inventory control and purchasing costs while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively address supply chain risks that could impact production.
• Partner closely with Production, Scheduling, Sales, and Finance to support manufacturing and business needs.
• Analyze purchasing data, inventory levels, costs, and forecasts to support informed business decisions.
• Lead purchasing process improvements, strategic sourcing initiatives, and cost-saving efforts to improve overall procurement efficiency.
