Horizon Community Church – Newtown, Ohio

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Reports To:

Operations Manager

Job Summary:

(Ram Clean/Horizon Community Church) is seeking a reliable and self‑motivated individual to oversee the church facilities during weekday afternoons and evenings. This role ensures the church remains a welcoming, clean, and secure environment for guests and ministry activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess strong organizational and hospitality skills.

• Perform cleaning tasks, such as wiping down surfaces, emptying trash, and ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked.
• Coordinate with the cleaning team to maintain overall facility cleanliness.

• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Communicate with ministry leaders and staff regarding facility usage.

• Monitor the premises to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.
• Perform end‑of‑day shutdown procedures, including locking up and setting alarms.
• Conduct routine security checks throughout the shift to make sure doors are locked.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in facility sanitation; event coordination is a plus.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to high‑quality excellent service.
