Scope of Job:This position is responsible for improving the site’s performance through daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities, within a designated area of the facility, but also cross area or functionally when needed. In addition, this position will drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime while always upholding all safety, quality GMP standards. Coordinating routine maintenance and work assignments for self and others.
The individual will be self-motivated to grow their plant knowledge and improve plant performance through their applied levels of contribution.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ensure use of LOTO, and or personal lock off for all maintenance activities, self and others.
- Assign, coordinate priorities, and monitor maintenance tasks for technicians in the assigned area.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and onward communication for maintenance issues within the area.
- Challenge and seek permission to upgrade PM content for your area, tasks, or frequency.
- Push for deeper technical and area knowledge for yourself and your team.
- Offer your support cross functionally and learn other areas of the factory.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize production interruptions.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct area inspections and report hazards promptly.
- Monitor spare parts and tools availability for assigned area.
- Coordinate with MRO team for timely material replenishment.
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS (work orders, downtime logs, maintenance history).
- Provide daily updates to the Maintenance Supervisor on area performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Collaborate with production and support departments to ensure food safety and the quality of our products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
Experience:3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated troubleshooting and leadership and/or coordination experience.

Physical Requirements:Requires prolonged standing, squatting, and walking. May lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
