Operations Supervisor

Topicz is a premier convenience store distribution company that has a rich history dating back to 1926. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual with strong leadership skills to join our Warehouse Management team. This individual will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations ensuring safety, productivity, and efficiency. We are seeking a candidate with a continuous improvement background and experience with lean operations.

This is a full-time, first shift, exempt position.

· Lead, motivate and engage a team of 30 to 50 associates to achieve peak performance through efficient operation

· Consistently monitor performance metrics and operational performance; coach, develop and provide feedback to warehouse staff

· Oversee training initiatives for all stockers, inventory control, receiving, picking associates and machine operators

· Conduct all powered equipment training classes and certifications

· Conduct incident and near miss investigations

· Oversee inventory control functions and reconcile discrepancies

· Promote a positive culture of safety, compliance and accountability

· Conduct daily team meetings

· Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse to ensure a clean and safe work environment

· Collaborate with other departments to satisfy customer demand and enhance operational flow

· Ensure all team members are adhering to safety policies and regulations

· Complete required documentation and route them to the appropriate team member

· Utilize warehouse management/ERP systems to support operations

· Identify and communicate ways to facilitate continuous process improvement

· 2-5 years of warehouse leadership experience

· Must possess superb communication, organizational, problem solving, interpersonal, and technical skills

· Familiarity with OSHSA and safety compliance

· Vocollect/AS400/S2K/ERP/WMS system experience

· Must be willing to work 40-50 hours per week

· High school diploma or GED; degree in supply chain, logistics or business preferred

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, reach, twist, walk throughout shift
