Position Overview
Position Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing, managing, and documenting all aspects of design and production of assigned projects. This role is to ensure the assigned projects exceed all industry standards, product quality with detailed organization, in addition to helping find workflow efficiencies and improve communication. The Project Manager will monitor and ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Objectivesof this Role
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and contractors.
- Monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan.
- Will work directly with Senior Management as well as clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with the project’s schedule and budget.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and prepare & submit all documents for client review, comment, and approval.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
- Measure project performance and report to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all project stakeholders.
- Meetings with clients to take detailed notes and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other departments and staff members.
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document the project’s progress.
- Use and continually develop leadership skills.
- Microsoft Office.
- Adobe Acrobat.
- A detail-oriented multi-tasker.
- Experience working with clients and project teams.
- Must have great communication skills and the ability to easily adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe suite is a plus.
