Position Summary
The Project Manager IV leads complex, high-value design and construction projects for government facilities. This role oversees all phases from planning through occupancy while managing scope, budget, schedule, and contractor performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale construction projects from planning through closeout
- Develop project plans, cost estimates, schedules, and procurement strategies
- Serve as on-site project manager, overseeing daily field operations and resolving complex issues
- Review and approve design documents, submittals, and project deliverables
- Ensure compliance with building codes, life safety standards, and quality requirements
- Provide technical expertise across building systems and construction practices
- Coordinate with A/E firms, contractors, and government stakeholders
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication
- Maintain project documentation and ensure delivery on scope, schedule, and budget
- Travel to project sites as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or 10 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Extensive knowledge of building design, construction methods, and commercial building systems
- Proficiency in project management, scheduling, cost estimating, and construction documentation
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-value projects and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with project management and estimating software
