General DescriptionThe One-Stop Operator Director acts as a conduit for excellence to offer effective and efficient structure and systems to allow partners to succeed and participants to thrive. The Director would be providing structure management and facilitating collaborative process improvement in an integrated environment where education, career skills training, community resources, employment assistance and wrap-around support are available in a career center model.
The Director will act as a liaison between the Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio Development Board and career center partners with responsibilities listed below:
- Fulfill the contract goals of the One-Stop Operator
- Manage the contract budget
- Manage the Partner MOU process on behalf of the Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio board
- Manage the Career Center Credentialling Process
- Convene with partners to establish collective goals, continuous improvement plans and customer experience improvements and report out to the board on service delivery, Action Plan Progress, and Performance
- Identify the need for and organize the coordination of activities among and across Partner Agencies
- Develop and implement an effective Human-Centered triage process to connect participants to services
- Support the marketing and advertising of AJC services
- Assess customer satisfaction and develop strategies to make improvements to the customer experience
- Data collection and analysis, including customer feedback, survey results and performance data
- Apply knowledge of labor market information to the strategic planning process
- Provide recommendations for professional development, policy and compliance training for all AJC partners
- Develop and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Other duties as assigned
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, operations management, management science, social services, organizational development, communications, or a closely related field
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years of experience supervising 2 or more people
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience working in a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act program
- Knowledge of the Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio Workforce Development ecosystem is strongly preferred
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with multiple stakeholders, frequent change, and diverse objectives
- Experience managing large scale projects and driving change initiatives, including efforts requiring process mapping, design and rollout of new operating procedures
- Ability to prioritize and handle repetitive tasks
- Excellent strategic thinking, operations, quantitative, communications and interpersonal skills
