Senior Marketing Manager

Develop and implement strategic marketing and advertising programs for the assigned division, line of business, or region. Oversee all aspects of these marketing programs to ensure proper execution.

Responsible and accountable for risk by open exchange of ideas, elevating concerns, and following bank policies and procedures. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and for ensuring that actions drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the bank's risk appetite, achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting all types of risks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist division in establishing marketing initiatives that support sales, customer experience, and/or regional goals.
  • Ability to manage a line‑item budget.
  • Create, implement, track, and execute sales contests and customer incentives.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of all promotion and advertising programs and recommend changes.
  • Effectively collaborate across the marketing division to achieve desired outcomes and drive business results.
  • Work with other divisions and lines of business within the Bank to increase cross‑sell and customer relationships.
  • Partner with Bancorp social media team to support Enterprise initiatives and for local opportunities as needed.
  • Assist in the communication of marketing initiatives throughout the Bancorp by regular interaction with line of business and regional partners.
  • Manage multiple vendor relationships and monitor effectiveness and efficiency of these vendors.
  • Recommend in‑bank collateral design and mix, and assist in the execution of these ideas.
  • Ensure adherence to Bancorp and line of business policies/procedures by obtaining necessary approvals through Corporate Marketing, Legal teams and Concept Share.
  • Within a regional capacity, drive efforts to effectively enhance reputation and brand message in the local market.
  • Support the company brand through adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Manage all projects within the line of business or regional marketing budget.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Position may have direct reports. Responsible for fostering a culture of employee engagement by leading impact planning sessions, providing timely, candid and constructive performance feedback, developing employees to their fullest potential, building the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning, and recognizing employees for accomplishments.

Minimum Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 8 or more years of job-related work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent PC skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of advertising mediums.
  • Prior financial/banking experience highly desirable, but not required.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience managing people preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact well in a positive manner.
  • Work requires the ability to multi‑task and be flexible.
  • Knowledge of the practices and current issues of the organization preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
