About the Position

The Regional Operations Manager will oversee and direct the operational performance of multiple business units throughout the Midwest region. This senior leadership position will be responsible for aligning regional operations with corporate objectives, driving profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence across all locations.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary link between corporate leadership and regional teams, providing strategic direction, managing resources, developing talent, and implementing initiatives that support long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple business units across the Midwest region.
  • Develop and execute regional business strategies that align with company goals and growth initiatives.
  • Manage regional budgets, forecasting, financial performance, and resource allocation.
  • Drive operational efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to maximize performance and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with corporate departments including finance, human resources, marketing, and business development.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Strengthen client relationships and lead customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Resolve escalated operational and customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and present regional performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Support regional growth efforts through operational planning and market development initiatives.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple locations, projects, or operational teams.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving operational, financial, and business growth objectives.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience utilizing project management and business reporting tools.
