ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations of switchboard operators; dispatchers, paging, emergency calls, monitoring, on-call schedule and patient information
- Maintain staffing schedule & process payroll
- Maintain pager inventory & provide pager exchanges.
- Liaison with paging vendor
- Establish & enforce work standards & quality improvement goals
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures
- Evaluate staff's performance & provide feedback
- Interview candidates for openings and make hiring recommendations.
- Oversee training of new hires & provide orientation
- Administer performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Update facility & staff directories annually
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree
- APCO certified within 1 year of employment.
- Emergency Number Professionals (ENP) Certification within 1 year of employment.
- 1 year supervisory and experience in call-center environment.
